The Forum’s first Anti-Litter Drive was held on Wednesday 7 August.  Well supported by students and staff members, the Drive tackled the litter on the Main Campus and produced a large number of bagfuls of rubbish.  The black bags and latex gloves were kindly donated by Chemlog, Tamleigh Catering, Dynachem and Forever Fresh UKZN.  The second Drive will take place on the Golf Road Campus, and the third on the Agric Campus.  

The Drives are the first projects of the Forum’s Green Campus Campaign, which aims at encouraging students and staff to take responsibility for the spaces that they occupy, to beautify the Campus and take part in recycling activities.  The Anti-Litter Drives will be expanded to the residences and, at a later stage, to the areas surrounding the campus.
